Project Description
Airsource Partners is joining forces with UK-based aviation consulting practice Graeme Ogilvie Consulting Limited (GOCL) in the area of crew management.
As an addition to the benefits to be achieved through the implementation of the Crew Management Quick Wins audit proposed on the Project Board, GOCL proposes here a specific course of action in the area of Pilot Training.
The Crew Training Project typically covers the following spectrum:
=> Training manual format and content including all forms, approvals, syllabi
=> LWMO (low weather minimum operations), ETOPS, Mountainous Terrain
=> Simulator approvals including zero Flight Time
=> English Language Training
=> Development of training courses
=> MPL
=> Training management.
The proposed study includes a thorough analysis of all manuals, rules and procedures in place at the airline. The focus will be put no areas that can easily and rapidly generates improvements (“Quick Wins”) positively impacting at the same time the bottom line of the airline and the working environment of the pilots population.
GOCL Founder and Managing Director Graeme Ogilvie has held posts as TRE and TRI in his professional career. He also was part of the team at the origin of then-start up Hong Kong Airlines, where he handled all crew management and flight operations-related affairs. During a more recent assignment Graeme worked for 2 years as the Sr VP Operations of Kazakhstan-based Air Astana.
